A First Pattern Fairbairn Sykes Fighting Knife

This is a good REPRODUCTION of the First Pattern Fairbairn Sykes Fighting Knife.

This example came with some kit from a combined operations reenactor. The knife itself is an old Italian reproduction, likely from the late 1960's, so it has a good amount of age and patina. The scabbard is a very good attempt at an original, fits the knife very well, but is missing the stud housing.

Blade length seven inches. The blade has been lightly sharpened, and holds a good edge.

The ensemble looks worn and carried, and would suit another reenactor or a collector desiring a space filler.
