A lovely untouched example of a Lee Metford MK II, bearing unit markings for Rifle Brigade, and the 3rd Leinster Regiment.
This example is dated 1901, and produced by Sanderson of Sheffield. The blade is in very good condition, with traces of old dried grease, which should improve greatly with some gentle TLC.
It's one fault is that the blade now bends quite significantly, which given the excellent condition of the blade would indicte that despite its obviously long service life, it doesn't appear to have seen combat!
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
