Boer War Folding Knife

A scarce example of the Boer War issue soldiers folding knife.

This example is marked to the main knife "W/|\D 4" and maker marked "Hunter Sheffield"

The main blade carries shallow chips for its entire length. There is slight movement in the blade when folded out. The marlin spike sits slightly askew when folded. There is a crack to one of the horn grip scales, but no movement. 

A hard knife to find, and this example comes in good, untouched condition, which could be greatly improved.
