A good example of the earlier type 1898/05 pattern, with high "ears".
Maker marked Simson&Co, Suhl at the ricasso, and 1915 dated on the spine.
Scabbard missing its throat screw, but the throat remains firmly in place. Complete with original frog, maker marked with a matching 1915 date.
A lovely untouched set, and getting harder to find now.
