A Wilkinson produced 2nd Pattern Fairbairn Sykes Fighting knife.
This is the variation with blackened hilt and blade.
Both etched panels clear and legible, signs of sharpening to the blade and of the point having been reprofiled.
No sign of ever having been apart.
Blade measuring just over 6.5 inches.
Housed in its correct brown leather scabbard with blackened chape. Tabs and elastic retainer removed.
