Hampshire Yeomanry Carabiniers Sword Belt

Hampshire Yeomanry (Carabiniers) officer's full dress waist belt. Gold bullion belt with silver and gilt belt plate/buckle, circa 1908.

Complete with the matching full dress sword slings, which would have been fitted to a plain sword belt underneath the dress belt.

The belt plate is in very good, fine condition. Rectangular gilt plate mounted with silver oak sprays and crowned title with central rose on crossed carbines with the title “Carabiniers” within a scroll across the butts. 

The belt itself has wear in places, particularly to the interior when it has been stored folded.
