An untouched French Model 1886 Lebel Bayonet. Matching numbers to bayonet and scabbard.
An early model with white metal smooth handle with hooked Qullion, the hilt with round chequered press stud.
The cruciform epee blade with needle point in good condition, bearing inspection markings at the ricasso.
Steel tubular scabbard with integral ball chape, with a slight bend towards the ball, as is common with this model.
Good overall condition, would benefit from a gentle clean.
