A Trench Art Letter Opener, made from what appears to be the tip of a bayonet, and the handle from a lump of WW1 shrapnel.

Measuring 7 inches in length, the blade has the word "Ameins" carved into it. The heavy shrapnel grip is still sharp, jagged, although somehow it can be held comfortably for use. A very real reminder of what was flying around the Western Front between 1914/18.
