A scarce Imperial German KS98 Sawback Extraseitengewehr Dress Bayonet.
Birds head pommel with functioning release catch, black chequered grips secured with twin rivets.
Bright blade measuring just under 10 inches covered in old grease with spear point. No visible makers markings to either ricasso.
Housed in its black painted steel scabbard completed with brown leather frog. Overall measures 16.25 inches.
Good untouched condition, with losses to the original nickel finish.
